Larisa Matatoff founded Esteem Etiquette to help children and young people develop the confidence, courtesy and communication skills needed to thrive in everyday social settings. She is a Certified Etiquette Consultant and Tea Etiquette Expert, with both certifications earned through the From the Inside-Out School of Etiquette.
Through Esteem Etiquette’s interactive, age-appropriate programs, Larisa combines professional etiquette education with a warm and encouraging approach. Her goal is not simply to teach rules, but to help young people understand how good manners, self-awareness and respect can strengthen relationships, build self-esteem and create a positive impression wherever they go.
The most meaningful etiquette skills are rooted in empathy and awareness. Knowing how to introduce yourself, join a conversation, navigate a meal or respond thoughtfully in an unfamiliar setting can help a person feel more at ease while also putting others at ease.
At Esteem Etiquette, these skills are taught in a welcoming and practical way. The goal is not to change someone’s personality or create fear around making mistakes. It is to provide the knowledge and confidence needed to approach social and professional situations with greater assurance.
Larisa’s approach is shaped by both her professional career and her personal experience as a parent. Her work within global financial institutions gave her firsthand insight into the importance of clear communication, cultural awareness, professionalism and the ability to build trust.
She also understands that etiquette education is most effective when it feels relevant, encouraging and enjoyable. Her programs combine timeless principles with practical instruction that participants can apply at home, at school, in restaurants and in professional environments.
